The Vision Behind SSSP
Shri Kajal Sengupta
Shri Kajal Sengupta is the visionary founder of Sarbabharatiya Sangeet-O-Sanskriti Parishad , established in 1976 in Kolkata. Driven by a deep commitment to the preservation, promotion and systematic development of India's rich classical music, dance, fine arts and performing arts traditions, he envisioned an institution where artistic learning could be guided by discipline, knowledge and cultural values.
Under his leadership and vision, SSSP has grown into a respected cultural and examination institution connecting students, teachers, artists and institutions across different regions. His enduring contribution has been to create opportunities for learners to receive structured education while remaining connected to India's diverse artistic heritage and traditions.
His philosophy places equal importance on artistic excellence, dedicated practice, cultural awareness and the relationship between the guru and the learner. Through this vision, generations of students have been encouraged to pursue their artistic journeys with confidence, discipline and a deep sense of responsibility towards India's cultural legacy.
Music is not merely sound — it is the language of the soul, the thread that binds our culture across generations.
